John Brown General and Butchery is located in the Worthington Valley of Baltimore County, Maryland. We specialize in whole animal butchery of grass-fed, grass-finished beef, and pasture-raised pork, lamb, and poultry. We also dry-age beef in house. Our butcher staff keeps the cases stocked with a rotating selection of house-made sausages, pates, breakfast and charcuterie meats, alongside an abundant variety of fresh cuts of sustainably raised beef, lamb, pork, and poultry. You will also find pantry items, local eggs and vegetables, provisions, Cunningham’s bread, baked goods, spirits, beer, and wine throughout our shop. We also offer a counter-service, made-to-order lunch menu between the hours of 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
